This policy explains how Little Gust and this website handle your information.

Who we are

Little Gust is published by Sunny Nagra ("we", "us"). This policy covers the Little Gust iPhone game and the Little Gust website. For support or privacy questions, email [email protected].

1. Solo play

The game stores scores, voyage progress, earned stars, settings and replay ghosts on your device. Little Gust does not send this solo progress to a developer server. Device backups you enable may include app data and are controlled by your device and backup provider.

The current beta has no advertising, in-app purchases, third-party analytics SDKs or location tracking. You do not need a separate Little Gust account to play solo, and solo sailing works offline.

2. Optional Game Center racing

Live racing uses Apple Game Center for sign-in, player identity, invitations, matchmaking and the connection between racers. The other player can see your Game Center display name. The devices exchange game-scoped player identifiers, steering inputs, course settings, boat positions, scores and race results to run the match.

We do not operate a multiplayer server or publish live results to a public ranking. Authentication starts when you choose live racing; after you have used it, the app restores Game Center authentication at launch so invitations can arrive. Apple handles Game Center information under its Game Center privacy information and privacy policy.

3. Challenges you choose to share

A score-challenge link contains game rules, a course seed, the game mode and level, control style, and the score to beat. It does not include your name or email address. You choose whether and where to share it using the iOS share sheet. The service you share through may process the message under its own policy. Little Gust reads the challenge parameters locally when a link is opened.

4. TestFlight and beta feedback

When you use a TestFlight build, Apple may collect testing, usage and crash information and share information with the developer. Feedback you choose to send may include your comments, screenshots and contact information. Apple explains this in TestFlight & Privacy. Please avoid including sensitive information in screenshots or feedback.

5. Visiting this website

Cloudflare hosts and delivers the website. To deliver pages and protect its network, it processes technical information such as IP addresses, requested URLs, browser/device information and request timing. Its handling of this information is described in the Cloudflare privacy policy.

We do not add advertising trackers, analytics tags or marketing cookies to this site. There is no account or signup database. The scenery pause control lasts for your current page visit and is not stored as a tracking identifier. Cloudflare may use necessary security technologies if it needs to protect the site.

6. If you contact us

Beta invitation requests are sent by email. If you send an email, we receive your address and whatever you include. We use that information to respond, help with support, manage a requested beta invitation or investigate a reported problem. Email providers and Apple may process information as needed to deliver messages or TestFlight invitations. We do not sell your contact information or use an invitation request to enroll you in unrelated marketing.

We keep support and invitation correspondence only for as long as reasonably needed for those purposes, applicable recordkeeping requirements and the resolution of disputes. Contact us to request deletion of correspondence we hold.

7. Your choices and requests

• You can play solo without using live racing.
• You can manage Game Center through your device’s Apple settings.
• Deleting the app removes its local data, subject to any device backups you retain. We cannot recover progress that exists only on your device.
• You control whether to share a challenge or send feedback.
• You can ask us about access, correction or deletion of personal information you have sent us. Depending on your location, other privacy rights may apply.

We may need enough information to verify a request. We cannot change or delete information that Apple or another provider controls independently; use that provider’s privacy tools for those requests. Where applicable, you may also contact your local privacy regulator.

8. Children and security

The site does not ask children to provide personal information, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. A parent or guardian who believes a child sent us personal information can contact us to request its removal. Apple’s account and parental controls govern access to its services.

We use reasonable safeguards for information we handle, but no service can promise absolute security. Cloudflare, Apple and email providers may process information in countries outside your own, under their applicable terms and safeguards.

9. Policy changes

If the game or website’s data practices change, we will update this page and its date. Material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law.
